And we’re not talking about the sounds emanating from the tents after chili burritos on Saturday night.  We headed out, Geof and Mackie, arriving at Malibu Creek State Park shortly after 8:30 p.m.  We pitched camp, and then sat, and did nothing.  It was wonderful.  Eventually, a bit after midnight, Scotty came, and we talked the night away!

 

 

Point Mugu State Park Campground magically morphed into Thornhill Broome State Beach, and our campsite was right on the beach.  We set up the screened gazebo, relaxed to the nice sea breeze, and watched people!

 

Ryan arrived next, and shortly after, Jason and Adam.  We talked, hung out for awhile, and played a few rounds of 20 Questions.  Ryan’s “balls” were too hard to guess, as was Geof’s “feather boa, and Adam’s “igloo”.

 

We decided to set up the Camping Condo and other tents after a walk on the beach, so Geof, Jason and Ryan headed out to a sandy beach, and walked along, and got very cold feet, literally.  Eventually we came back, and Jason and Adam set up their accommodations, while Ryan and I set up the Camping Condo, and moved in.

 

Michael and Jeff arrived about the time we were cooking dinner.  Everybody made fun on using chili in your burritos, but everyone seemed to eat them, along with quesadillas and such.

 

Geof took a cold shower in the dark not far from some ladies watching, and everyone became sleepy and went to bed.  It was relaxing listening to the waves and not having bright sun right in the morning.

 

After breakfast with a “new” sort of pancakes, we packed up camp, and headed back to civilization!
